We’re inviting working musicians and teachers with music qualifications to share their love of music through our instructional programs in Britain’s schools.
At Teach Major, our program is designed to create an educational network for those who believe in sharing their passion for music performance and instruction to make a positive impact on the next generation of musicians. Our strength lies in a diverse instructor pool: by furnishing full planning and resource services for our staff, we can bring both working performance musicians and career music educators into the classroom. If you’re a working musician considering joining the education sector, Teach Major will provide you with a supportive and friendly teaching mentor to ensure confidence and capability in classroom instruction. We also understand the demanding and varied performance schedules of a working musician and coordinate compatible classroom commitments for our working musician instructors.
Career music educators are also valued at Teach Major, where we work with these educators to identify and achieve their ultimate teaching goals. We offer continued professional development courses to ensure that our instructors are delivering the most outstanding music education curriculum possible and prioritize teaching success through approach-matched instructional styles..
