We ensure the following for our teachers:
PPA Cover
We offer the best PPA cover available in the London area. Our exceptional tutors are matched by personality to your classroom needs and preferred teaching style. They are then provided with thorough lesson plans that accompany the national curriculum, along with assessment forms to help monitor the daily progress of your pupils.

Workshops
Our workshops offer students the chance to experience top of the line musical education in the format of a one time workshop, that is flexible to fit the needs of any classroom, and can work around the schedule of your educational facility.
Big Voice Workshop
For the students with dreams of being the next superstar, they can exercise their lungs and learn new songs and techniques at the Big Voice Workshop. Our staff have tonnes of experience in the modern music industry and can coach students to reach their full vocal potential.
Body Percussion
We’re bringing elements of one of the West End’s best-loved shows to a classroom near you. Children will learn to tap basic and complex rhythms using different body parts and every day objects. Not only is this a great way to improve understanding of rhythm, but it makes for a really great work out too!
Drumming Workshops
We are in partnership with Resonate Drum Workshops who facilitate high-energy and engaging percussion workshops that are individually tailored to meet the needs of participants of all ages and abilities.
Specialist/Team Building
All of our workshops are available up to a highly advanced level for more experienced students and teachers. We also offer them as fun, team building exercises for all staff, regardless of musical ability. We love thinking outside of the box, so get in touch and let’s discuss a bespoke package that’s right for you.
After-School Clubs
Our breakfast, lunch and after-school clubs are a hit with teachers and parents alike. We enable busy guardians to turn their hectic schedules into an opportunity, allowing their child extra time to enjoy making music with their friends. We administer both choral and instrumental classes with trained specialists, in a safe, relaxed, and productive environment.
Class Tuition
One of the greatest challenges facing teachers in musical education is teaching an entire class to play an instrument. Our practitioners are trained in the best methods of communicating recorder, ukulele, guitar and violin skills to large groups and varying key stages – an excellent way to supplement the national curriculum and ensure your students are all learning to read music.
Our students are growing musically from Teach Major’s tuition and subject specialism, but our staff and administrators also benefitting from the timetabling and instructional support. On top of all that, access to Teach Major’s resources allows us at Lake Farm Park Academy to provide increased extracurricular clubs to our students, encouraging them to get involved with the arts in different ways through new environments.
Instrumental Tuition
Instrument-specific tuition is the key to unlocking musical excellence. Our teachers are picked for their inclusive and supportive attitude towards learning and are happy to work either one-to-one or in a group environment. Teach Major prize the needs of the individual above all else, giving regular feedback and recommendation on how to further develop each student’s abilities.

Teach Major worked hard to create a tuition package that suited our school and the needs of our pupils. The tutor you provided for us is a great fit for the way our school works, and the fact that the vast majority of parents have chosen to continue the music tuition after the initial term is a testament to the fact that they feel their children are benefitting from it.
Live Music Performances
Teach Major is excited to announce a new musical service to primary schools in the greater London area: Gigs For Schools. We understand that schools are always in search of affordable, new music based experiences for their pupils, and we are passionate in ensuring that they receive accessible opportunities.
Gigs for Schools is a program offered in the style of a one session performance and discussion, bringing professional contemporary musicians into the classroom to musically inspire students, while providing them with an interactive performance of original and well known works. Each gig is comprised of 4 – 5 selections of high energy, engaging songs for students to enjoy, and are interspersed with stories about the writing and learning process. The performances are enhanced with audience participation and are followed by a question and answers segment for the students.

Holiday Courses
The music doesn’t need to stop when school does! Teach Major provide a range of exciting courses and lively workshops outside of term time. Follow us on Twitter, or sign up to our mailing list to receive all the information you need on these as they’re announced.
