Molly McHugh
Founder & Director
Molly is a passionate primary music specialist and musician with a lifelong love of arts and education. She trained at Leeds Conservatoire, learning from some of the UK’s leading practitioners and has developed a particular expertise in classical music. A specialist in flute, piano, and bassoon, Molly is also an experienced composer and arranger, creating original works and arrangements for choirs. Molly has designed and implemented engaging, creative music curricula in schools, while also training, upskilling, and supporting music teachers across the UK. Her work ensures that every child has access to inspiring, high-quality music education.
Michael Park
Director
Michael has worked professionally in the creative industry for many years as a performer, educator, and producer. He trained at the world renown ArtsEd in Musical Theatre and worked professionally for many years as a performer in theatrical shows and as a backing vocalist for various artists. Alongside his work at Teach Major, Michael runs a successful production company, producing theatrical shows, like The Prince of Egypt recently seen in the West End and nominated for a Grammy Award. He loves to see young people’s lives changed for the better by the creative arts.
Ejay Smartt
Teaching & Learning Operations Manager
Ejay is an event manager and musical director with a versatile career spanning performance, production, an d project execution. He has worked with major industry names including Universal Music, YouTube, Virgin, EMI Records, and the BBC. His live credits include some of the UK’s most iconic venues such as, The O2 Arena to The Lord’s Cricket Ground, Twickenham Stadium, Emirates Stadium, The Hammersmith Apollo, and Wembley Arena. As a seasoned session musician Ejay has brought his creative energy to high-profile collaborations with artists such as Mark Ronson, HRVY, The Vamps, Bellah, Bob Vylan, and Karen Gibson MBE. He believes in empowering the next generation with the right tools, wisdom, and belief to go further, dream bigger, and rise higher than those before them.
Jessica Hernandez
Extra-curricular Operations Manager
Jessica is a singer-songwriter, music educator and vocal coach with a background in musical theatre and experience in the pop industry. Highlights include being part of an upcoming UK girl group for four years, working with the likes of ITV and Warner Bros Music, gaining recognition from Little Mix, Ella Mai, Dappy, Stef London, Avery Wilson and many more! During the days, she also finds fulfilment in passing on her musical skillsets and educating the next generation of children to see them flourish in talent.
